  3.   Just a short note about different revisions of the game.  We know of,
  4. and correctly handle, the TWO current versions of KING'S QUEST IV, as
  5. identified by the Quality Assurance file which accompanies the game:
  6.  
  7.                   "K4091988.QA"  -  Sept. 19, 1988 version
  8.                   "K4092488.QA"  -  Sept. 24, 1988 version
  9.  
  10.   The FIX-KQ4.BAT file will look for one of the above .QA files, and use
  11. the correct patch automatically.  You must insure the correct .QA file for
  12. your version is in the current directory.  Any versions other than the ones
  13. specified above will probably NOT work with the current patches, and will
  14. NOT be modified in any way...
